  Das deutsche Handballmagazin (HM), Medienpartner von Handball Challenge, stellt in seiner Juli-Ausgabe die Minigame-Serie Handball Challenge Trainingscamp vor. In der Juni-Ausgabe des Magazins hatte die Redaktion bereits die Beta von Trainingscamp getestet und fand das Spiel so gut, dass sie entschieden hat, den Entwicklungsprozess redaktionell zu begleiten.   How came the idea to make an handball simulation?

  In 2007 our creative art director and co-CEO Gregor Ilg, who played for a fourth-league side in Berlin, injured his anterior cruciate ligaments (ACL), one of the worst injuries for an athlete. While playing other video games during his rehabilitation he got bored because there was no handball game available and he decided to change that.

• Neutron Games awarded for business concept

  Of course, the best thing for us would be to tinker non stop on our handball video game. If we would do that Neutron Games most likely couldn’t keep up for so long because all the pizza leftovers were gone and somehow the rent has to be paid. The times that you could program a top title in the basement during your free time are over since the publication of Tetris and so is the economic concept an important part for the success of a company.
